Sharing

One of the subscribers to my newsletter shared something with me today and it got me thinking. What she said was that that initially she wasn’t really reading my newsletters. She would just scan them briefly and then move them to another folder. Then one day she decided to actually read one…and then the next one…etc. She said now she is really enjoying and looking forward to them. She has gone back and read some of the ones she glossed over before.

Have you heard the saying “When the student is ready, the teacher will appear”? Well this is pretty much the same thing. When you first start your journey to self discovery, you may not be ready to hear certain things and that is ok. When you are ready, you will find things suddenly resonate with you that you had previously ignored or rejected.

Sometimes those rejections are because of beliefs deep in our subconscious. These beliefs are triggered by something we hear or see and because the subconscious doesn’t like change, it will reject the idea. If we are persistent, we can overcome these rejections and suddenly that same thing that made us uncomfortable will be a source of inspiration and enjoyment.

I’ll be honest, sometimes I have trouble coming up with articles to use on my blog and in the newsletter and even sometimes resent having to do it. However, once I start doing research, I get into a good state of mind and learn from what I am researching. It is good therapy for me to do the research and find articles and products to help others.

Anyway, my subscriber’s feedback made my day. I feel blessed that I was able to help at least one person (besides myself)…and hopefully many more to come.

Thank you for reading and may God bless.
